Your Congregation should receive a packet during the week of August 3rd - 7th. The packets were mailed July 28, to your church's address. In this packet will be detailed instructions on how to register 2020 Voting Members for the upcoming Virtual Synod Assembly. If you have further questions please let us know.
What is required from the 2020 voting members?
1. A fee of $25 dollars per voting member should be paid using Eventbrite or a check or cash mailed to the synod office. 2. A working computer or laptop with video and sound with internet access. 3. A unique email/personal email to verify your voting member status during the election process. PLEASE NOTE: A couple may NOT share an email if both are 2020 voting members. They will each need a separate email.
If your designated 2020 voting members do not meet the above required items, it is up to the congregation to determine if alternates will be chosen in order to accommodate these special circumstances for our 2020 Virtual Synod Assembly.
What if I have technical problems?
Before and during the Virtual Synod Assembly/ Bishop Election, we will have technical support people on site to answer phone calls and assist voting members.
