This cross was constructed during the February 2007 Theological Training Retreat.
Biblical teaching sessions focused on the lectionary texts for Lent and Easter.
Our synod offers two retreats each year with the leaders of the ICLH.

Koinonia: A Theological Partnership
     "You will be my witnesses . . . to the ends of the earth"  (Acts 1:8)

"Who is my neighbor?"  (Luke 10:29)

God has opened a significant door for this Synod to share in a thelolgical partnership with our companion synod in Honduras, Iglesia Cristiana Luterana de Honduras. We have been invited to participate in leadership development retreats with the pastors and lay leaders of the worshiping communities of the ICLH. In two retreats each year we will journey together in worship and Bible study through the rhythms of the church year. The spiritual development of the pastors and lay leaders has been identified as the number one priority of the ICLH. Teams of clergy and lay teachers and musicians are needed for fall and spring retreats on an ongoing basis. Serving as a team member will provide an opportunity for significant ministry, but will also deeply move one's heart, spirit, and vision. We also stand in need of funding for the materials (Bibles and hymnals), and retreat and travel expenses for ICLH participants. Please pray about ways you can participate in this exciting ministry.
