May 6, 2019 Lutherans at the Capitol & Homes for All Rally
What is Home in the Midst of Crisis?
Home is...shelter! Home is…security! Home is…stability! Home is… __________! How would you finish the sentence?
Where we live impacts every aspect of our lives. Where we call home affects the groceries we buy, where we send our kids to school, and how we thrive in our community.
At every stage of life, where we live is the foundation for our health, education, safety, and economic wellbeing. But in communities across the state, there isn’t enough affordable housing.
This leaves few options for Minnesotans struggling to make ends meet.
Join fellow Lutherans and other people of faith at Christ Lutheran to explore what “loving and serving our neighbor” means in the midst of a housing crisis…And join housing advocates from across the state for a rousing rally in the capitol rotunda. Bring a friend – or a team – or both!!
