Native American Sunday in Northeastern Minnesota Synod, ELCA, is the second Sunday in October each year.
On Native American Sunday in Northeastern Minnesota Synod, we honor the unique and beautiful contributions of our Native American brothers and sisters by lifting up the American Indian/Alaska Native ministries of the ELCA.
Native American Sunday provides congregations in the NEMN Synod the opportunity to give generously through a special offering set aside for the ministry of Together Here and the Deacon called to finding meaningful and authentic way to lead our synod in this ministry effort.

Join the Ministry and Vision of Together Here
Over the past two years, Together Here has provided learning opportunities within congregations, among youth groups, and within the borader community. Through the formation of the resources and facilitation of the Blanket Exercise, Together Here has been invited into a variety of spaces to share the truth telling message of relationships in our communities and the healing brought forth through Christ. Through our workshop series, we have made wonderful partnerships in communities throughout our synod. The ministry of Together Here invites you to partner with us in this reconciling work. To financially support Together Here, please earmark contributions with “Together Here.” Contributions can be made here, directly through the NEMN Synod Office, or through your congregations and submitted to NEMN Synod office. |
