Purpose Statement
As a community of women, created in the image of God,
called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit,
we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts,
support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action
and promote healing and wholeness in the church,
the society and the world.

Mission Statement
To mobilize women to ACT BOLDLY

7th Triennial Gathering - Women of the ELCA
July 10-13, 2008 in Salt Lake City, Utah

This weekend will teach, encourage, and challenge women who participate to a greater understanding of their faith and what it means to live it out. The life-giving waters of baptism will be celebrated and commitment to share God's living waters with others will be renewed.
          Presenters include featured speaker, Sister Joan Chittister; Bible study presenter, the Rev. Karen Bockelman (and NE MN Synod assistant to the bishop!); and preachers the Rev. Elizabeth Eaton, the Rev. Heidi Neumark, and the Rev. Marysol Diaz will bring their gifts to explore various dimensions of the theme.
